When I take friends like this woman fishing, which is frequently, of course, they always outfish me. Sometimes I get skunked while they fill the boat. Perhaps this is because I do all the bait-boy chores; I surely wouldn't want my friend to have to touch any slimy fishes. But it may well be that I am a little distracted. So be warned, fellas. <br /><br />My wife -- the cutest and most able angler by far -- owns a magazine and book store, the Michigan News. She is starting to see a new kind of magazine: soft-sex outdoors magazines that feature ads with bikini girls posing next to boats and knockout semi-nude covers of fly-fishing chicks. It's about time we got around to the real busines of the outdoors, I say.<br /><br />
