ever have an alpha one gen II u joint bellow ring pop right in?

i have done my fair share of these bellows and tried many methods, i have beaten the hell out of them, i have tried to press them in, i thought i tried it all, well today i used the mercruiser power tune carb cleaner, as recommended here on this site . i sprayed the power tune on the ring and it practically jumped into place. to the extent that i thought i hard the wrong ring. I have never hard this ring go on so easy, no tools, no hammer, no cursing.... i think it was Bondo who recommended it, boy was he right.

truely awesome, i was stunned, i had gotten myself all worked up about ok, here i go again, how long will this take this time, 10 minutes later i was onto the next step.

Bondo turned me on to that tip of Don?s, too, and it sure made that part of the job a breeze...
