That'll be on craigs list soon enough..."well maintained bass boat, excellent condition, just needs a good buffing..."

Ike is pretty much a loose cannon. Not surprising he'd find himself up in the trees from time to time.

Ike is pretty much the Happy Gilmore of bass fishing. We've all had some issues over the years. Be it ending up like Ike, running over a rope at 2 am 60 miles from shore, forgetting the tire chocks, etc. It's not life without a few screwups.

What are those two white vertical things on either side of the motor?

Re: Even the Pro's screw up

All's well that ends well I suppose. The "two white vertical things" are anchoring poles. There are several different brands, but Power Pole and Minn Kota Talon are the two most well known. They're remotely operated, electric, fiberglass pins that are driven into the bottom when at rest when in 8', or less. Saves you from having to use the anchor as much. As far as I know, they were first used on flats boats down here FL/Gulf Coast and have since been adopted by the Bass Pros ad other shallow water anglers. One is usually enough, but I guess you may as well get two if the sponsors paying for it.

Power Pole anchors (or equivalent). Good for quick, solid anchoring in up to 8 feet of water. Power Pole

google "Hydraulic Boat Anchor" for more options. Some are hydraulic, some electro-mechanical.

Ike's an ***. And a fake. I was flipping channels on a saturday and hit on a bass show(never watch them)stopped as Ike caught a bass.
Then he kinda looked around and saw people looking and THEN he put on his screaming act.Faker

There's also a look alike pole for lowering the transducer to get 360* view.

Ike looks pretty proud standing there, even gives a thumbs up. I guess he can do that when not one penny for the rig comes out of his pocket. Lucky he didn't center that rig on one of those bigger trees........
