How do I find out about ethanol additives and its effects on fiberglass gas tanks? I recently purchased a 24 gal.fiberglass tank for my Whaler and have heard a warning about deterioration from the new gas regarding the tank and my outboard.
If you are talking "fiberglass" that's one issue. If you are talking about a plastic tank that's another. In the midwest we've used ethanol blended fuel for years with no plastic tank problems.
