How do the carb jet passages hold up for v4 crossflow for 9 months old 100% ethanol free gas that might not be stabilized?

Can't remember if I drained the carb bowls 4 months ago or not as I usually do but boat trailer was damaged then and couldn't move it get to winterize the fuel.

Trying to gauge if I should throw carb kits in it or not. I think the last time it was done was 1.5 years ago.

No running issues last time it was used, just had to mothball the boat until two months ago due to trailer repair.

Definitely will spend the money if needed, but I would like avoid knee-jerk parts buying.

Just remove the high speed jets and verify they are clean,-----Can be done with carburetors in place.-----Or use 100LL aviation fuel at end of the season.-----It has a much , much longer shelf life.

Had ACDF surgery 2 years ago. Boat ended up sitting for 9 months with 30+ gallons of untreated E10 in the tank. Topped off the tank and went boating.

Curious, how do you motivate the high speed jets to come out completely after unseated when the carbs are mounted on the intake? A very small pick or some other method?

Nine month old un-stabilized gas is a problem? Rebuild carbs?

I rebuild carbs every 20 years or so. "Old" gas is after several years.

Top off the tank and go boating. Don't worry, be happy.

Think I would pour in an appropriate amount of stabilizer now, and maybe dry-gas.

Dry gas wouldn't hurt, depends on the environmental conditions that the boat is stored in.

Gas has a shelf life of only a few months. If you want to stabilize it, you must add the StaBil right away. Adding any now to already stale gas serves no purpose.

Aviation fuel has a much longer shelf life.-----Mandated and strictly regulated I believe.

I had a spare set of carb to intake gaskets lying around, so I pulled the carbs to pull the high speed jets, clean them with carb cleaner, and put them back.

Brilliant me somehow got crossthought and double stacked high speed jets on one of the carbs for one side, even when I made a habit of looking down the entry/exit when doing work. I have no clue how my detailed thought process blundered that well when only working on one carb at a time.

I caught it in my "check my work" step. They were double stacked, they were both snug in there stacked but easily removed without any difficulty at all. I know better than to tighten carb jets like an impact gun.

I didn't notice any distortion/denting on either side of the main jets, maybe just a microscopic sharpening of the end of one of them.

I put them back in their correct sides and all fit snug in there with no issue and "appeared" to seat in their proper spots deep in the carb bowl.

The only unknown I would really have is the aluminum carb body below, is there any realistic chance it did some damage to the aluminum carb bowl with those jets stacked?
