ETEC Emm Issue

I have a 2006 Evinrude Etec 40hp tiller boat motor. The Emm is getting no power none of the lights are coming on so I was wondering if there was a way to test these like seeing if the power wire to power the emm is getting 12volts or not and if it is I would assume it would be a bad emm. Is this a good way to test it? If so, where would the power wire be that hooks up to the emm?

Does that e-Tec have any fuses?

Yes it does I’ve checked the ones I’ve found and they don’t seem to be blown

I saw a video of a guy working on a FICHT, which is the father of your motor. It has 4 fuses in a plug, attached to a cable. The fuses were under a cover, that looked like a cable terminator. You might look for such a thing, if you did not find 4 fuses together.

"don’t seem to be blown"

Test them with a electrical meter.

This is what you want to say,

"Fuses are good"
