Eska 7.5 HP

I pal (obviously a good one) bought a new B&S 4 stroke, so he gave his old ESKA.
Model 14209A, S/N 01-063128. Anyone know what year it is?

Here is a video ? it started on about the 10th pull. Once warmed up, it starts will just a slight yank on the rope! Compression seems to be fine. Is there anything I should know, check, or do besides the lower unit lube before I use it?



Since it seems to runs so good, I?ll use it as a kicker on my 14? Lone*Star Malibu next to my 40HP Seahorse.

One little problem, the prop is pretty well shot.

That's a 1983 or 1984 Eska. Both years had the same model number. Parts are available from certifiedpartscorp.com. They bought Eska's entire parts stock, and have most everything you might need. Call the number on the site, then ask the person there about your engine. Always have the model number ready.

That your buddy is going to want it back after he gets tired of listening to that B&S 's dry exhaust....man they're loud.
