escort trailers

I just bought a spectrum 1606 deep v and it sits on an escort trailerthis is my first deep v as i usually ran bass or tri-hulls which all had a crossmember on the backend of the trailer that i could use my transom saver with this escort doesn't have an end member , is this normal for V hulls?<br /><br /><br />thnx<br />mark
