I have an 88' Escort trailer for my Bayliner Capri... The previous owner jack-knifed the tongue out of alignment... I called the company that handles Escort (no longer around) and they state all parts are no longer available. Thank fully the tongue section is simply bolted onto the "wish bone Y "portion... It's galvanized completely.... anyone know where I can get this 3' long (square shaped) tongue peice? Someone told me to simply go to a metal shop and get them to cut me a new peice, then simply (yeah right) swap the bent tongue with the new one... Hmmmmm.... This would require the boat to be OFF the trailer, right? <br /><br />Oh and the model number on the Escort trailer is gone.... it must have washed off over the years....<br /><br />Thanks.
