My fuel guage reads correctly when the tank is above 3/4 but below 3/4 it become eratic and bounces from 3/4 to empty. Is this most likely the sending unit? The boat is 20 years old. Thanks! Rich
That is typical marine fuel sending unit operation. Best to check your fuel when not moving and boat sitting normally.<br />If you want accuracy, you need something like a Floscan.<br /> http://www.floscan.com/html/index.asp
