Just fishing for a brief answer. I think in the long run I know that major carb work is needed, but if this is something I can fix up that'd be great. I am preparing an Evinrude 150 for sale. It has sat for two years. The problem getting it running has been gas leaks. The last leak seems to be in the electric choke. The engine will now hold bulb pressure, but engaging the electric choke sprays gas out of the front. Seems to be the electric choke with a capped valve surrounded by a red lever. Given the distance I've had to go to get this far, I expect some rebuilding is necessary, but if there's a fix for this particular problem I may be good to go. Any advice is appreciated and thanks.
