Engine won't start on 1988 70hp

1988 mercury 70 HP model# 70ELPTO serial# OB 34A5507 that I had a few alarm problems with you guy helped me they are now fixed.the problem now is when I first started the motor it Fired up for about 2 seconds and now nothing.it turns over good its getting gas but seems like no fire ? any suggestions where I go from here.pls feel free to contact me.
