Engine wont idle

I have a 2002 yamaha 150 two stroke. When at low rpms (1000 or so) the engine conks out. I have removed the carbs and cleaned them, but it still does the same thing. The engine runs fine at higher rpms. Any info would be welcome.

Hi coggin,
Try removing your jets screws and spray some cleaner in the jets. Be sure to set the jets at the correct specs. I am not sure what the specs are for that motor but hopefully you have a manual that will help you. May also be fuel pump diaphragm. Good luck.
