Engine with jackshaft easier or harder to remove?

I have a 2001 Stingray MS200 center console that looks like it needs the 4.3L engine removed to either rebuild or replace block. Anybody have experience with this sort of thing? Thanks

Ayuh,.... It's slightly easier, as ya don't have to pull the drive, just the driveshaft,.....

remember, the motor, jackshaft, etc went in prior to the deck going on the hull.
