Engine upgrade

Hi just wondering has anyone upgraded the engine on their Bayliner 175 to a V6.
our engine is a little tired and is in need of replacement, looking at re-power.

Just getting opinions, to way up my options.

Other than buying a bigger boat.

Ayuh,... Sure it can be done,...
You'll need a new outdrive to go with the bigger motor though...

Along with that outdrive you will need a FULLY Dressed marine engine. Everything, including manifolds. risers and the exhaust Y.
Then you get to deal with the motor mounts.
