Here is mine I built and have been using for years. I have done small block and big block Chevy?s on this stand that I made, both for cars/trucks and boats. I have since sold it but I want to build another one that will be able to be disassembled when I am done. This will allow the thing to be stored in a small area with just a pile of steel taking less room. I also want to make it so it will accommodate a Ford big or small block. This stand was very stable where it had castors with jacking feet that when pushed down the wheels would be off the ground and the stand supported by heavy duty feet. Never had an issue with it ?torque-ing over?.

The first one (mine - 2 pics) is wide enough to allow the motor to turn - lock to lock.
Also wide enough with no rear cross member , so it can be rolled up to the 100 gallon test tank and run. Has been used for short and long shaft motors, 9.9 hp to 115 hp.

The other 2 belong to other member.

Boat in a box. Remote start box for Mercruiser engines. Just plug and play. Woks perfect...

Oh, man! I have a couple of those DeWalt cases myself... gears are turning now! That would be such a nice tool to have when fiddling at the back of the boat!

That remote start in a box is cool. I like the idea.
Here is another shot of my stand. I ran many engines on this for people. It has been a life saver checking for leaks and such. Takes about 20 min to bolt an engine up.
