engine swap

I have bought a searay seville 1987 that has a 3.0l Id like to change it out to a 4.3v6. Is this possible?

I would say YEA but you would have to see if the part numbers for the bellhousing are the same.....otherwise youd also have to change out the bellhousing......realign the motor/ I/O unit etc...

I trid finding the part numbers but I dont have the parts catologs only repair manuals DOH! sorry!
