I am swapping motors. Here is the specs..

CURRENT:
1995 17' Glastron
1995 88 HP Evinrude SPL
Boat is rated for 150hp

I am looking to put on the following motor:
Late 80's 150 Evinrude
20" shaft

What can I expect to be in for the project, here are my questions:
- Will it bolt up to the same holes on the boat?
- Any chance this will be 'plug n play' w/ the boats wire harness? (look to be the same style)
- Any other "watch-outs" to be aware of?

See photos below for reference-

Any thought / suggestions would be greatly accepted!

Current motor / Boat:
Shaft length is 20" on the 150
I measured my 88 and it appears to be about the same length.

OK, cool. It's a direct swap. same steering, same throttle / shift cables, same wiring harness. Just make darn sure the fuel line is 3/8" ID, not OD. Not 5/16" ID - 3/8" ID.

Anything wrong with the 88?
