Engine rebuild questions

Since I have to rebuild my 1986 200 Evinrude is there any high performance I can add? I noticed flat top pistons do they make a dome top? What about reed valves? What extra can I do?

Start at the begining. What hull? What's the numbers now? What's the taget (strictly top end, skiing, acceleration etc)?
