I have a 37' gibson houseboat with two 350 crusader engines. They have seperate ignitions, gas tanks, and batteries. They run fine up to 2400 rpm. And they run fine above 4000 rpm but in between thet miss and sputter. The only thing I can think of is fuel because it happens on both motors at the same time. What do you think?

Re: Engine problem

Sounds like you are having problems when the secondaries are just starting to open. Next time it does this, mark your throttle position on both engines then with the engines off, open the engine compartment. Is the primaries fully open and is the secondaries starting to open? If so, be sure the butterflies move freely.
