engine oil preasure gauge stopped

Hi I was running my Merc 4.3 testing my cooling system all the sudden my oil preasure went to zero. It does have oil it could be a few things like pump(BAD) sensor, or the gauge any Ideas on where to look thanks

I would get an oil pressure gauge that goes directly on the block to make sure that you do have oil pressure. That would be the starting point. If no pressure, there aren't too many things it could be. Bad pump
