Installing new front mounts today.
Can anyone provide me with the distance between the front mounts and the distance between the front and rear mounts?
Don't see anything in the manual.

Drop the motor in, set the mounts ,do the alignment, then spray paint the mount to ID the hole location, raise motor ,drill and lag .
The factory has the jig that sets on the rear mount and locates the holes for the front mount.

without the factory jig it`s iffy to get them exactly where they have to be. when i rebuilt the stringers in a cust boat i dropped the motor in ,set the mounts ,aligned everything, spray painted the mounts to ID the hole location and raised the motor back up and drilled the pilot holes .set the motor back in, verify the holes ,then 4200 and lag

Distance between the front mounts - 22-1/2" (527mm)
Distance between front and rear mounts - 39-7/8" (1014mm)
Also note, the front mounts are 7" (178mm) below the crankshaft centreline.

(these are for a 1996-2001 5.7L)

Hope this helps.

I wonder if there's enough room to drill the lag bolt holes with a right angle drill, which would enable you to drill em with the engine where it will wind up?

When I swapped a 4.3 for a 5.0 I found a 18" long 3/8" spade bit at an angle will allow u to drill the lag holes with engine in place. Way easier than marketing no and pulling the engine.

Thanks for the measurements achris. I think my measurements between the front are good and can be adjusted a little. Your numbers from front to back seem long though .

Yep. Rookie mistake. The drawing shows the front mount width as from the crank to the mount, so for the distance between them I doubled that value. For some reason I also doubled the value shown from front to rear. ... dumb mistake sorry. Correct dimension is 19-15/16".
