engine knock oil pressure down 1987 seareya 5.7

Hello guys 1987 searay 5.7 engine, alpha one gen 1, engine was rebuild recently by a shop, put boat in the water and after engine warms up oil pressure goes down to almost cero, and heavy engine knock coming up from engine, I notice oil on the bilge check level of oil and is ok. Any ideas.

I hope a reputable shop did the rebuild. I would take it back to see what they have to say.

A heavy knock is never good. I too hope a reputable shop did the build. Sounds like you're losing oil and the knock in my guess would be a rod getting ready to come out the block.

Sounds like they let the new guy rebuild it. Either way it sounds like its going to have to be redone hopfuly at there expence..
