I have a 1997 Volvo Penta SX I/O. It is a 3.0 liter, 135 hp. Last year, when I was putting it up for the winter I changed the plugs, and also the fuel line. Also, per the manufacture's suggestion I ran fogging spray through the carb when shutting it off for the last time. I also used fuel stabilizer when topping off the tank for storage. This year it has run fine with one exception. When I turn the switch (key) to the off position, it hesitates for 1-2 seconds and seems to struggle as if it were still trying to get fuel or a spark. It finally does shut off, but not immediately like it should and did the year before. Any thoughts on what might be going on here? Did the fogging spray screw something up? I ran some carb cleaner through earlier in the year hoping that might clean the carb out, but it really hasn't helped much. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
