I have a 1997 Yamaha 150 AET. Bought it in Puerto Rico when stationed there. The engine is rubbing the right side of the assy that is bolted on the transom. Rubbed a little when I first got the boat and motor, gotten worse over the years. Whenever I lower, it rubs (contacts) this assy. Same problem on raising. Trim and tilt work fine. You can tell it works harder until the engine is past the bracket assy when lowering. I've greased this area and it has helped. I think the problem is with the steering cable assy?Thanks, bubba-b
