5.0,mercruiser 2003, starts every time then dies after @20-30 seconds,lie you hit a kill switch, I checked wiring, ignition switch, kill switch, HELP!!!

Same thing happened to me last year. Engine died between 30 and 45 seconds. I have an electric fuel pump and the wiring connections were loose. These forum guys led me to this solution. If you have electric pump, check this area.

Well, finally diagnosed the culprit, it was the oil pressure sensor, replaced it and now runs fine.
