Engine cover seal

I am looking for and engine cover seal for a 1990 9.9 p/n-0332823 but everywhere I look they but everywhere I look they say they are no longer available. Does anyone know if they are out there anywhere or any aftermarket places make any?

I made one for a 3.9 Merc by using regular black automotive hose (choose your size) .

Sliced it down the middle all the way and used GOOP black adhesive to hold it in place.

Worked perfectly and cheap

The last cover seal that I bought for that motor was over $40 & that was 10 years ago. It seems that as their inventory declines, the price goes up & then it is gone.

I like the top lip on the original style to keep water out. I am going to be using it in salt water and trying to keep anything from getting underneath the cover. The seal on the cover now is destroyed.

Nymarine has the seal material but as noted above they are not cheap. It would run about $50 with shipping

I just did that. I bought one the the seal is in good shape and it has both the emblems that are missing on this cover.
