I have a cracked block in a 98 3.0L Volvo Penta motor. I was tearing down the motor, and the head is stamped GM. I am thinking that this block can be replaced with a GM 3.0L automotive block. Am I correct in thinking the block is a standard car block? Thanks again.

Nope,... But yer close....

It's a GM industrial motor...
It's Never ever been used in a Car...
Just Marine/ Industrial applications...
