Engine alarm system questions

In doing a repower, if I replace an engine without any alarm system with a new engine that has an alarm system is there a module i could buy that would have the warning lights and sounds in it that would be "plug and play" or would I have to build one from scratch, considering my helm as is isnt compatable. It would be Mercruiser Engine Guardian System.

I am aware that it will prob require a new wireing harness from helm to engine.

The Mercruiser Engine Guardian System is part of the ECM on MPI engines, not something you just add on.
if you are looking for oil, temp alarms, they are just switches on the engine, and a buzzer at the helm and some wiring.
