Check out "Bogue inlet pier"s website.they have a " current fishing report" every day or 2 with whats bittin there. also " Atlantic beach NC tackle shops" search,call a few on the list for some current info for that area.

This area of NC offers good fishing . The Bogue Inlet pier is one of the best, There are also gulf stream head boats that go out almost every day from Morehead city which is about 15 miles north of the Bogue Inlet Pier. Here is just one picture from 9/25 from the pier
