Emailing Photo Telephone pictures?

I have an LG photo cell phone. I guess the only way that you can get pictures out of it is to email them. When I have a picture selected and I choose addresses from the Options, I don't see how I am supposed to enter my email addy. If I start punching in numbers that represent the letters of my email addy, it just shows the numbers I pressed. It doesn't seem that my addy could be decifered from those number.

Any ideas?

My cell carrier requires an option to allow you to e-mail photos. Are you sure you have that ability?

I'd look into the availability of a data cable and LG software and download the pics to your computer. You can edit the pics and email them from your computer. Features like Bluetooth, infrared or cable connectivity make this easier. Since you didn't post the model number, can't get too specific as to your options. Downloading the pics doesn't use any minutes transmitting pics thru emails too.

I pay $5 a month for internet access on my phone, that way I can email the pics to myself.

Get a real camera.............8)

I got a good one TG. That's what all my posted pictures are taken with. However, I was at the Portland Boat show and took a bunch of pictures of boat trailer winch assemblies. I need to download them so that I can choose which winch support configuration I want to construct for my Beachcraft trailer. (Tailgunner whipper)

If it's Verizon, you can send to Pix Place then download to your pc from there. For occasional use, that's the way to go.

Yes, it's Verizon. Why just occasional use, i386? I thought emailing was the only way to get pics out of your phone. plus I thought that you could email them anywhere?

Boomyal, mine has to have the contact stored in it already before I can email them.
Don't know if you have done that yet, but you need to get your email addy in the phone first, at least on mine you do.

I should have explained my response better. It was really comparing to xcuseme's solution. Getting a data cable and all that jazz vs just using PixPlace occasionally. xcuseme gets extra geek points for the data cable route though :)

What SBN said. Just open the address book and head to "add new". Then when you go to send the pic, it will be there. I also had an LG that would not take a cable for putting the pics on my PC. Don't have that anymore.........
