internetoutboards only shows 11, 19 and 21 pitch props for a 90tldi. Do you have others not in the e-catalogue? I'm running a 13.75x15 now but can only get 5500 rpms running alone and barely over 5000 with other people or any kind of load. I want to try a 13x13 more or less.

And...why can't this 90hp tldi spin a 13.75x15 prop on my 1000# plywood center console hull with only 8 degrees of deadrise? Doesn't seem right to me.

http://groups.msn.com/bricog/tolmanskiff.msnw?Page=1

Re: Elvin-Tohatsu question

The original equipment Tohatsu props are lot higher than the aftermarket props that are on the market. We just don't put them on our website. I would suggest iBoats for a replacement prop. As to your TLDI not getting the right RPM's...Who installed the engine?

Re: Elvin-Tohatsu question

The local Tohatsu dealer installed the engine. And my TLDI gets the right rpm's with a light load. I just expected this 90hp engine to be able to swing a little more pitch on my light, flat-bottomed boat.

Do the ecu's have part #'s that identify them as either 70hp or 90hp? I've heard the only difference between the 70 and 90 is the ecu.

Thanks
