Elvin tach ?

Received my tach for Tohatsu mfs9.8a2epul. Thanks for help. My RC manual shows meter cord coming out of RC. Mine that came with motor has no meter connection cord, just rubber plug in hole. Could they have packed wrong RC in motor crate? The tach will have to be hardwired with this control. I'm told it should be a plug in operation. Thanks, <br />Lou Mayers

There is a OEM harness, that is considered optional, that allows you to plug in rather than splice. They don't include it with the control box because so few people use a tach on one that small. I would just grab some wire and splice, but your local dealer can sell you the factory harness if you want one.

Thanks Elvin, I've already figured out the connections from the schematics. I wired elevators for 38 yrs, this should be no problem. I just wondered if they left something out.<br /><br />Lou
