Elite Boats Aluminum Canoe

Hello,

My name is Jim. I live in Florida. I just purchased an old aluminum canoe from a company called "Elite Boats" out of New Paris, Ind. I can't find any information off the internet on this company. I assume they are out of business. Does anyone know where I might find more info about the company/canoe?

New Paris is about 8 miles from my house and is where Smoker Craft is located so I would imagine it is a brand of Smoker, don't ever recall any other boat companies there.

Things made prior to the explosion of the internet are kind of hard to find because noone has put the info up, maybe try Wikapedia.

I have lived in this area for all of my 46 years and never heard of them so they have probably been out of buissess a very long time.
