Hi guys,
sometimes when I start my motor (86 bayliner contessa 28ft, fly bridge), not only nothing happens, but I blow the fuse (sometimes it starts without problems). so I always carry 3 or 4 spare fuses, but I am wondering if there isn't an underlying problem.
does this sound like the fuse (25 amp) might not be adapted? or could it be something else?
thank you.

Re: electrical

Which fuse are you blowing? Where is this fuse located in your boat?

Re: electrical

You should not be blowing fuses. My guess is that you have aome corrosion at some connection resulting in a high current draw. Might not be fun finding it.

Re: electrical

the fuse is located behind (or in front looking forward) of the control station inside the lav; we very rarely use the lav, I don't think it could be coming from that.
How do I find that corrosion? is there some method or just the old looking for it one?
thank you
