Electrical problem with float and bilge

I'm re-wiring my boat and ran into a snag when I tried to connect the bilge pump and the float to the switch panel. Does anyone know how I can wire the float, if the bilge is on an on/off switch.

I installed a new one not too long ago....here is the diagram from Rule:<br /><br />
