should be possible, you would need the starter, starter bracket, electric start flywheel, starter solenoid, etc, etc.... <br /><br />Maybe Joe Reeves or someone else with lots of old evinrude experiance can point you more in the right direction.<br /><br />Good luck!

I happen to know of a cooked twin to that. It has electric start. Maybe I can hook you up with the owner. The powerhead is junk, but it'll have everything you need. It's in Oshkosh. He's getting a new boat. Click on the icon with the house and the little man on it and you'll find my email on the bottom left. (Turn your popup blocker on. Sorry about that.)<br /><br />What would really be nice is if you can find a junk but intact electric shift 40. It would have everything plus a generator.
