Shocking news! Now and then when going from neutral to forward, I get a small buzz from the handle. Doesn't do it when either in forward or neutral. Just in the transition. Any ideas?

what do you have? sometimes the throttle cable runs to close to coil wire and when coil wire is getting bad it will jump to throttle cable check condition of the wires. run enging at nite squirt some water with a windex bottle on them(wires/coil) if it looks like the 4th of july replace wires/ plugs probally wont hurt too.

Also just check the wires going to your neutral safety swich in th shifter. You could have a lose wire or something causing current to flow throught the handle itself

If that doesnt fix it, check all your wires. I had my wires all melt together and it was giving me an occsional shock thru the throttle. It kept me awake!

Ken
