So I bought a nice Suzuki 9.9BTXW5 with side mound remote control for trolling for salmon and I am about to install it.
The electronics from the side mount do get me quite mixed up. There is the connection that goes straight from the side mount to the engine, that I presume holds the start/stop and t&t motor wires and probably an alarm, that much is simple. But then there are 2 more cables with plugs coming out of that main cable. What are those for?
I'm sure they are for something and I suspect that it may be for rpm gauge or water temp or oil pressure. But what is what?
