Don't think you can weld that. Id try to straighten it out and find a crimp on terminal that will slide on to what's left of it.

The positive side has a tab the negative side is broke off flush. 2 part epoxy? Jb weld?

I'm with Scott - buy a new one. But if you're determined to fix it, which I can understand BTW, can you drill it out and rivet a new one in place?

I’m going to take it to the mad scientist shop (work) tomorrow and give it the ole college try. But the admiral ain’t gonna be to happy after the outdrive went out now she’s gonna think the whole motor is shot.

a brand new choke kit is dirt cheap to start with, a pre-owned old stock one on fleabay is cheaper.
