Due to the advanced age of the new Pope, would it have been sensible for the Cardinals to draft a #2 Man? Considering all the boys were in town, and I recall John Paul I died shortly after his assuming the role of Pope. What do you think?
It's their process. It's not for me to suggest a change.<br /><br />The new Pope is said to be a strict traditionalist. He believes the Cathoilic Church should follow its doctrine, not the social whims of the world.<br /><br />Three cheers for him.
