I have an XRI 2.4L 200 HP EFI with a dead EFI
I am handy with electronics so I separated the boards and removed the silicone Gel. The board appears to have suffered the same failure most boards do and The electrolytic caps are fried. It should take about $10.00 for new caps and an hour to solder them in place. IF it works I'll post the proceedure here for the repair.
My Question is after making repairs is there anywhere I can take the module where it can be plugged in and tested? The motor is an 86-88 early efi model.
Thanks Chuck
