2000 Mariah 4.3 EFI Mercruiser.

I have seen posts that say a remote tank should be hooked up and engine run for 10-15 min to Fog a
EFI engine. My question is how do you hook up the
remote tank to the filter housing?? I have the Merc manuals but can't seem to find how to do it.

Thanks for any help you guys can give to a Newbie.

By disconnecting the main fuel tank rubber hose from the fuel filter housing and connecting your portable tank to the fuel filter housing input with a rubber hose connected to it?

That should be a TBI which basically has an electronic carburetor. Just fog like you would a carbed motor. Many other EFIs have intakes that won't allow good oil introduction into the motor.

TBI you can fog like a carb, MPI you have to run the mixture through. To much fogging oil in the cylinders of an MPI engine will also damage the injectors.
