I am really close to buying a 1999 Ebbtide open bow 210 w/ only 68 hrs, 5.7 v8 volvo, fuel injected, original owner, and was wondering if anyone knows about Ebbtide? Is it a good brand? I know about Bayliner, Reinnell, Fourwinns, etc, but havent heard much about Ebbtide? Just dont wanna buy a lemon brand, thats all.
Please give me feedback as to whether its a good boat or not, I'd appreciate it!
thanks in advance!!!

Re: Ebbtide 210 open bow question

i own an ebbtide fish & ski and i love it, it's also 21 years old. They seem to be well constructed and handle rough water real well. My boat is alot different than the one your looking at but i know that ebbtide has a good reputation for building a good boat.

I would rank the Ebbtide Campione just under Four Winns Horizon. Ahead of the others you mentioned. Ebbtide Mystique is essentially same as Campione, just more luxurious appointments and upholstery. Here is another thread on Ebbtide -

Trailer Boats Boards » ... » Ebbtide Boats

Kelly Cook

I have an Ebbtide 210. It is a Campione model year 2000, but I LOVE IT. Very solid boat, very few problems over the years. It has been very reliable and I have used it hard and pushed it hard. All boats require maintenance and have some upkeep, but I think Ebbtide is a very solidly build boat and engine.
But, getting replacement parts is tough because Ebbtide is out of business. Just FYI.

Are you sure about that? They have a 2011 catalog on their site and there's nothing to indicate that they are out of business.

Re: Ebbtide 210 open bow question

We have a local Ebbtide dealer. I've looked at their boats a lot. They are very solid and in the last few years at least have used very little if any wood. The dealer didn't have any on his lot last time I was their so I asked about it. He said they are just not keeping much inventory right now but he could order me an Ebbtide if I wanted one. So, I highly doubt they are out of business.
