Ebay Starter for 3.0 Mercruiser

In my search for a new or rebuilt starter I ran across this, or these, on ebay. They are all over Ebay and very inexpensive. I cannot rebuild for this price.

Any experiences out there with these advertised starters?

ive had no problem with ebay starters or alternators. plus ya get the one year guarantee. and i trust a seller with like 8000 positive feedbacks.

actually just bought one from amazon.com and got it, installed it and all I have is whinning maybe granding. I haven't pulled it off yet but I am thinking it has too many or not enough teeth to match my flywheel

Ditto fishrdan only mine was for 4.3 volvo vortec - still crankin good after 5 months in the Florida Gulf waters
