I'm sick and tired of roller marks on my boat. I was thinking of trying these rollers I fould on Ebay because the price looks right. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or Tie Down Brand non-marking rollers?

I can tell you that the seller (Eastern Marine) is a quality outfit from Delaware. I bought parts from them before and their service and prices were great. You can go to the website here for more information about the rollers on eBay. Stoltz and Yates are probably the two most popular aftermarket rollers manufacturers and you won't go wrong with either one. I don't have any experience with Tie Down rollers.

One word to the wise, though. Check to see what kind of bushings you have in your current rollers. Some use plastic, others are steel inserts. Make sure you replace your black rubber rollers with the same type of bushing inserts. Give Eastern Marine a call if you have any questions.

How do you spread apart the hog rings to remove and install them?

Hog rings: grab one side with a pair of pliars and pull.
