I am in need of an outdrive for an 1988 350. The gears in the upper are gone. I saw this one on ebay. The item number is 130540753133. If you look at the closeup photo of the input shaft you will notice the splines appear to be twisted. I asked the owner if it really was or if it was an illusion. He said they are machined that way, Which is not true. Has anybody ever seen this happen or know what would have caused this. Other than it locking up? Wost case I can swap shafts with mine cause it is probably bent also. Im kinda scared of it. Also, if any one has one laying around let me know. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
