Easy on the moving topics...

Dear Moderator,<br /><br />I've noticed a tendancy to move the topics started here, over to the 'general outboard' area. One such topic,"1999 HONDA 130 HP ", had four replies all of which mentioned 'Honda' and 'problems'. Exactly the type of post I'd expect to find, and add, in this section.<br /><br />Quite frankly I don't care to wade through the much longer list of posts over in the 'general outboard' section when I specifically want to know about a Honda related issue.<br /><br />Thanks for your time and dedication, but please relax a bit, I doubt you get paid (many moderators don't), and I really doubt you get paid a bonus for each topic move.

Hi, Brian.<br /><br />This Forum is titled, Honda & Tohatsu/Nissan Outboard Troubles and Repair .<br /><br />The General Outboard Forum is specified for Non-Repair discussion.<br /><br />If it aint broke, don't post it here.

A yes, I've seen the post over there. One member had to go back and edit his post due to the move, and then the whole thing just died.<br /><br />Great...

Hi Brian.<br /><br />I guess I was abrupt. Sorry about that.<br /><br />The Troubles/Repair Fora are for people to state a problem with an engine and ask for help in diagnosing or repairing it.<br /><br />Discussions that don't include a "What's wrong?" or "How do I fix this?" question belong in the General Outboard discussions, even when they are about a specific brand.<br /><br />It must be easy to misunderstand this, even for the folks who read the title of the Forum before posting. I often need to move 8 or 10 posts a day and sometimes get a bit cranky about it.
