Early Winter PSA - dishwasher

Don't forget to clean our your strainer/filter after the big thanksgiving meals and before the Christmas ones.

Our new Bosch is the easiest one I've ever had but I have had some take up to an hour to dig into. Be prepared to be disgusted and surprised at what you find. Just did a friend of ours and found lots of plastic (hard and wrapper), a screw and what looked to be the remnants of a paper clip.

Interesting finds! I would ask how did that get into a dishwasher, but we all know things happen ... good reminder.

Didn't even know there was a strainer! Where about would this be? Whirlpool dishwasher.

pull out the bottom rack and look where the water drains. It is there. Google is your friend here - may not get specific detail but after a few vids you should be able to figure it out.

You will be surprised at how much better your machine cleans
