i have a early 90's 6hp merc that i use for a trolling motor i just had the carb cleaned last year but it smokes bad im running it at 50-1 right now with Pennzoil premium plus do these little mercs just smoke it runs great besides the smoke but its getting to me

Try changing your brand of oil.

lol no...but I read some think it may produce more smoke.(depending on the type of oil)
